Fyvie FC Raises £1,000 for Mental Health Aberdeen

That the Parliament congratulates Fyvie FC on raising over £1,000 for Mental Health Aberdeen by doing a 24-hour run on 27-28 June 2020; understands that the amateur football club has also teamed up with the mental health charity and local business, Flowline Specialists and Hunting Energy Services Ltd, to have the slogan, "it’s okay to not be okay", on the back of its new away kit; acknowledges the importance of community clubs such as Fyvie FC raising awareness of mental health and helping to destigmatise mental ill-health; commends the players of Fyvie FC for their effort on the run, and further commends Mental Health Aberdeen for the vital work that it does, as well as the businesses that have partnered with the charity.
