That the Parliament notes that Motherwell Fire Station’s Doors Open Days took place over 19 and 20 September 2020 when the public was able to get a glimpse of what life is like for firefighters based at the Motherwell station; understands that the event provided an opportunity to showcase the variety of work carried out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), including the many specialist services that it provides; applauds the station, which prides itself on its work and its facilities, for using this opportunity to show people what goes on behind the scenes as all involved work hard to protect the community, and commends Motherwell Fire Station for its ongoing commitment to working for, and engaging with, the community it serves.
