That the Parliament commends the Mother and Baby Unit at St John’s Hospital in Livingston for being recognised for its outstanding work in caring for new mums experiencing mental health problems; understands that the unit has gained accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatry (RCP) perinatal quality network after meeting over 300 standards set out by the College, which assures patients of the excellent service being provided to mothers and babies in its care, and believes that this is an excellent achievement by the Mother and Baby Unit staff, which recognises their outstanding work.
