North East Scotland College Invests Over £130,000 to Support Access to Online Learning

That the Parliament commends North East Scotland College (NESCol) for investing over £130,000 to support access to online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that students at NESCol’s City, Altens and Fraserburgh campuses can apply for loans of laptops to ensure there are no barriers to attending virtual classes or using digital resources; recognises that NESCol has already procured over 1,000 devices for students through the Bring Your Own Device Scheme and that this additional batch has been made available through a grant provided by the Scottish Funding Council, and wishes all staff and students at NESCol success during this academic year.
