That the Parliament congratulates Elaine McHugh, who is a Beatson Cancer Charity (BCC) ambassador, on her recent win in the People’s Choice Category at the Scottish Charity Awards; recognises that this prestigious ceremony is held annually and run by SCVO to celebrate the best of the charity sector; acknowledges that, following the death of Elaine’s 22-year-old daughter, Eilidh, from cancer, she has raised more than £300,000 for the BCC, and sends Elaine its best wishes.
