The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

3 Instruments subject to negative procedure:

The Committee agreed to bring to the attention of the Parliament the following—

Firefighters’ Pension Schemes (Scotland) Amendment Order 2024 (SSI 2024/26)
Dangerous Dogs (Designated Types) (Scotland) Order 2024 (SSI 2024/31)

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

4 Instruments not subject to any parliamentary procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

5 Investigatory Powers (Amendment) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (in private):

The Committee considered the powers to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence conferred on UK Ministers in the Bill and agreed to report to the lead Committee, the Criminal Justice Committee.


6 Work programme (in private):

The Committee considered its work programme and agreed to invite the Minister for Parliamentary Business to give evidence at a future meeting, and to delegate authority to the clerks and Convener to agree dates for this, and future meetings with the Minister for Parliamentary Business.
