As an amendment to motion S5M-23445 in the name of Murdo Fraser (Legal Advice), insert at end ", and further calls on the Scottish Government to expand the remit of the current Ministerial Code investigation, by directing James Hamilton QC, to ascertain whether the current First Minister breached the ministerial code by not acting compatibly with the legal advice that the Scottish Government had received, under Section 2.30 of the code, in respect of the Judicial Review raised by Alex Salmond, and whether the current First Minister misled the Parliament at any point over the Scottish Government’s handling of complaints against Alex Salmond or the subsequent Judicial Review, under the terms of Section 1.3 (c) of the code."
