South West Scotland Regenerative Farming Network Wins the Food and Farming Award at Nature of Scotland Awards 2023

That the Parliament congratulates the South West Scotland Regenerative Farming Network on winning the Food and Farming Award at RSPB Scotland and NatureScot’s Nature of Scotland Awards; notes that the Nature of Scotland Awards is an annual event where Scotland’s nature community comes together to recognise the outstanding achievements of those working hard to protect the precious natural heritage; understands that this award was received in recognition of the network’s outstanding peer-to-peer knowledge exchange efforts to extend the implementation of regenerative farming for the benefit of nature and climate; notes what it sees as the importance of restoring native habitats and preventing biodiversity loss in Scotland, and commends all involved with the network, as well as all those who were nominated for and received awards or commendations, for their ongoing commitment to restoring nature and tackling climate change, while encouraging and supporting more people to get involved.
