Opening of New MND Research Institute in Edinburgh

That the Parliament celebrates the opening of the new Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research institute; believes that it will significantly advance research into the root causes and treatments of MND; understands that the University of Edinburgh is one of six sites, and indeed the only one in Scotland, and further understands that it has been made possible by support from MND Scotland, the MND Association, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, medical research charity LifeArc, the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Medical Research Council (MRC).
