Berwickshire Students Win Borders Company of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates the Berwickshire High School students' Books N' Brews on winning the Borders Company of the Year award at the Young Enterprise Borders Company Programme final; understands that this award was given to the students for their concept of selling pre-loved books wrapped in paper; notes that the event was held at Galashiels Rugby Club, and aimed to showcase the achievements of young entrepreneurs across the Borders who launched and ran their own businesses during the 2023-24 academic year; understands that the students from the Scottish Borders had the guidance of business advisors and volunteers providing support based on their own insights from the enterprise world; notes that the judges for the final were business owners and entrepreneurs who examined written reports, conducted interviews and oversaw presentations by each businesses, and thanks all those across the Scottish Borders who volunteered their time to make this awards event happen.
