Bishopbriggs Academy Beatson Cancer Charity Fundraiser

That the Parliament commends Bishopbriggs Academy for participating in a virtual event to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity between 18 and 20 September 2020; understands that staff, pupils and the wider community will be taking part through walking, running and cycling as much as they can over the weekend; notes that the ambition of the school is to virtually travel 1,290 miles from Bishopbriggs Academy to Mont Blanc via Ben Nevis; congratulates Bishopbriggs Academy on its inventive adapted fundraising efforts this year, and wishes everyone all the very best for their collective virtual international trek in aid of a great cause.
